Christmas Performance

A little late I know, but you know the saying. Good things come to those who wait.
Elliott had allot of fun with this. He would occasionally break out in song while driving in the car or playing at home. I was surprised because it wasn’t songs we worked on but I had a feeling it was part of the show. After the performance we had snacks and the teachers all bought presents for the kiddo’s. It was very nice and was very appreciated.

Elliott misses his teachers since switching schools. One day on the bus his old teacher came on to assist with another student and he got really upset and started to cry. It was upsetting to hear, but it’s also nice to see him get attached to others and miss them. Now we just need to get a play buddy for him.

He is also doing well with his speech and occupational therapy teachers. They use a visual schedule with pictures and stuff and he seems to understand his expectations on what to do and what needs to be done. He really likes his speech therapist. One day he pulled her badge from her pocket and says “Wow, so beautiful.” Needless to say it won her heart and really solidifies him being a ladies man in the future.
